PRSA Memphis Gears up for the Return of the VOX Awards

Memphis, TN, August 20, 2024 – The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Memphis Chapter is hosting the 2024 VOX Awards, the leading event recognizing outstanding public
relations and communications achievements in Memphis and the Mid-South. The VOX Awards, which was last held in 2022, brings together industry professionals to celebrate the best strategic campaigns, organizational excellence, and communication tactics that have contributed to the success of programs or campaigns. Open to all sectors, including agencies, corporations, media, government entities, nonprofits, and freelancers, the VOX Awards are aligned with the prestigious national PRSA Anvil Awards and are judged annually by an outside PRSA chapter.

Kim Marks Malone, president of PRSA Memphis, emphasizes the value of sponsorship: "The VOX Awards not only recognize the best in our industry but also bring together a diverse and
strong community of professionals committed to excellence in public relations."

This year’s VOX Awards will recognize work completed between October 1, 2022, and August 1, 2024. All public relations and communications professionals are invited to submit their best
work. All work submitted must be predominantly created and managed within the Mid-South/Memphis metropolitan area.

In addition, individual award submissions are now being accepted for the Memphis PRSA Stars Awards, a key feature of the upcoming VOX event. These awards honor individual public relations professionals who have demonstrated exceptional expertise, leadership, and dedication to the public relations field. The Memphis PRSA Stars Awards recognize outstanding contributions across several categories, including the Rising Star Award for practitioners with three or fewer years of experience, the PR Star Award for those with more than three years of experience, and the PR
Executive of the Year Award, which celebrates a senior PR leader for their exceptional work and leadership. The prestigious PRSA Memphis Chapter Member of the Year award will also be
presented to a chapter member who has shown remarkable service to the Chapter and its mission.
