PRSA Memphis Hosts 2022 Annual VOX Awards for Public Relations Excellence

For nearly 30 years, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Memphis Chapter has recognized industry leaders and organizations in the Mid-South who have made contributions to the community through their best performing work.
Once again, PRSA Memphis is hosting its annual VOX Awards in downtown’s Old Dominick Distillery on Thursday, November 3 at 6 p.m.
Chip Washington, host of “Real Talk Memphis” on WYXR 91.7 FM and “Let’s talk about it” on WLOK, FM 105, and AM 1340, will return to emcee the event. Local musical artist Jordan Dodson will also perform and bring the DJ vibes.
The VOX Awards give public relations and marketing agencies, corporate communication teams, nonprofit organizations, freelancers, and other expert communicators an opportunity to network, recognize colleagues, and celebrate the field of public relations in the Mid-South.
"Our annual VOX Awards are a time to award local professionals for their hard work and dedication to the communications industry, and we are thrilled to host this ceremony for another year,” said Jennifer Sharp, president of PRSA Memphis. “From campaigns and media tactics to internal communications and special events–our local communicators have been continuously doing great work, and we can’t wait to recognize them and their efforts."
PRSA Memphis will present awards in categories such as campaigns, media tactics, special events, and Best in Show. In addition, local professionals will be recognized for the individual Star Awards, including Rising Star, PR Star, Executive of the Year, and Member of the Year.
To attend the event, tickets for members are $50, tickets for non-members are $60, and students can attend for $20. Tickets can be purchased at PRSAMemphis.org.
